Multidisciplinary designer bridging fashion, biomaterials, and sustainable systems through research and practice

Born in Brazil with Italian family roots, I’ve called the Netherlands home since 2018. My journey moves fluidly between creative research and commercial fashion - blending material innovation with market insight, and storytelling with strategy.

I work both as a fashion buyer and as an independent designer and researcher. In my buying roles in Brazil and the Netherlands, I’ve led end-to-end product development and sourcing, helping shape collections for large-scale fashion brands. At the same time, I’ve built a practice rooted in sustainable material innovation, speculative design, and regenerative systems - working on independent projects, collaborations, and community workshops.

My interests lie at the intersection of aesthetics and systems thinking - I’m drawn to the abstract beauty of colors, textures, and forms, but also to the deeper structures and social contexts they emerge from. Whether developing cassava-based biomaterials, co-creating circular design workshops, or planning a seasonal fashion collection, I aim to create thoughtful, future-facing work that bridges creativity and functionality.

The projects featured here reflect a decade of exploration, from entrepreneurial ventures and EU-funded research to community-centered education. I hope they spark inspiration and open possibilities for collaboration.

Areas of Practice

My practice spans four interconnected areas. Each section here offers a deeper look into my work, with selected case studies that highlight past projects, processes, and experiences across these fields.

  • Investigating how design can foster cultural connection, sustainability, and community-led futures through ethnographic methods, stakeholder mapping, and material storytelling.

  • I develop thoughtful products from concept development to hands-on execution. In parallel, I research and develop biomaterials from scratch, adapting recipes and experimenting in small-scale lab settings to create future-facing, locally rooted material alternatives.

  • With a background as both brand founder and fashion buyer, I bring a 360° perspective on the industry - spanning brand strategy, creative direction, and end-to-end product development.

From trend forecasting and moodboarding to building cohesive collections, I’ve led the creation of fashion products that balance creativity and market relevance.

As a buyer, I’ve curated assortments strategically, nurtured strong supplier relationships, and guided teams through coaching and collaborative leadership.
