Biomaterial Research
Designer & Researcher
Amsterdam
2020 - present
Overview
Until 2020, I was used to only working with materials available on the market. However, during the Fabricademy program, I was introduced to a new class of materials - biomaterial -, crafted by myself or grown in collaboration with living organisms. The opportunity to merge my passions for cooking, gardening, and design was truly fascinating. From that moment on, I eagerly embraced every chance to experiment with biomaterials. I developed my own recipes, conducted workshops, and guided students on their biomaterial design journeys.
This page showcases parts of the ongoing research I am developing in the field of biomaterials. Some projects were part of specific initiatives, while others were exploratory adventures. Have fun!
